During the course of the presentation, district officials asked the board to consider starting the school year virtually, with the intention of gradually reintroducing students and staff to the in-person school model over time as COVID-19 case trends permit.

Greenfield Superintendent Lisa Elliot told Patch that the Board will be meeting on Aug. 10 to make a decision.
