Doghouse Charlie Will Play Final Brews And Bites Concert Tuesday

Doghouse Charlie's concert for the Brews and Bites series in Konkel Park was rescheduled to Tuesday. It is the final show of the series.

GREENFIELD, WI — Local band Doghouse Charlie will play the final show in the Brews and Bites Tuesday night concert series in Konkel Park. The band was originally supposed to play last week but severe weather pushed the concert to this Tuesday.

Doghouse Charlie plays hits from David Bowie, Tom Petty, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Beatles and more. The band features members from all over the area and is made up of eight total people, according to its website.

The band has praised itself as "Wisconsin's Funniest Band" on its website and has even had a small exhibit on display alongside Bruce Springsteen's artifacts in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio.

Between the music there will be plenty of food and drinks available. The concert series has been serving up brews and bites, as the name suggests, since it started in June. A Beatles tribute band kicked off the series which will now be concluded by Doghouse Charlie.

Find the show at Konkel Park, 5151 West Layton Avenue, Tuesday at 6 p.m. A chair or blanket is recommended for the concert, according to the City of Greenfield website.
