Drugs, Gun Seized After Greenfield Chase Ends In Crash: Police
A pursuit that began in Greenfield early Tuesday morning lasted nearly 4 miles and ended with a crash in West Allis, according to police.

WEST ALLIS, WI — A police chase that began in Greenfield early Tuesday morning reached speeds of around 102 mph until it ended with a crash in West Allis and authorities seizing drugs and a gun, according to police reports released Friday.
The pursuit began near 108th Street and Beloit Road when an officer spotted a vehicle and tried to pull it over on suspicion of drug activity at a nearby motel, according to a report from the Greenfield Police Department. The 3.8-mile pursuit ended when the sedan crashed near South 60th Street and Lincoln Avenue, just after West Allis officers used stop sticks, police said.
The pursuit began just before 3 a.m. that day with officers tracking the sedan down Oklahoma Avenue as the suspect at times weaved into oncoming lanes, police reports said. At one point Greenfield officers lost sight of the car and ended the pursuit until West Allis police alerted of a sighting, police said.

A Greenfield officer found the car and the pursuit began again as the car headed down parts of Howard Avenue and 60th Street, again in oncoming lanes at times, until it crashed, police said.
After the crash police said they seized a Glock 21, 20.9 grams of a chalky substance that tested positive for heroin, 9.3 grams of a white rock substance that tested positive for cocaine, 37.2 grams of a chalky substance that tested positive for cocaine, a further five bags of suspected cocaine weighing in total just under half a pound, several grams of variously colored unknown substances, plus five cell phones.

Two people were arrested after the crash and have been charged in Milwaukee County, police said. Randy Coleman, 23, of Milwaukee, is facing charges of felon in possession of a firearm, 2nd degree recklessly endangering safety, and possession with intent to deliver cocaine greater than 40 grams as a party to a crime, according to online court records.
Ralfiel Reed, 21, of Milwaukee, is facing a charge of possession with intent to deliver cocaine greater than 40 grams as a party to a crime, court records said.
