5K Run/Walk For a Better U

The 5K Run/Walk For a Better U event, a 3.1-mile run and walk on the trails through scenic Greenfield is Saturday, Sept. 3. The race begins and ends at , 10777 W. Cold Spring Rd.

The entry fee is $20. All participants will receive a goodie bag and post-race refreshments.

All proceeds will benefit the remodeling of the new community center.

Awards will be given to the first overall male and female finishers, as well as the top three finishers in the following age categories: 10 and under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49 and 50 and older.

The race begins a 9 a.m. Registration begins at 8 a.m.

Strollers and wheelchairs are welcomed, but no pets, bikes, skateboards or roller blades are allowed.
