Application for a Parade License received from Ragnar Events for The Ragnar Relay Chicago 2012 race to benefit local charities and CARA/Road Scholars to pass through the City of Greenfield on Saturday, June 9, 2012 from 12:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. with the route of the relay as follows: Runners will run south on Root River Parkway, which turns into South 116th Street, go left onto West Howard Avenue, which turns into South 112th Street, then go left onto West Cold Spring Road. Runners will cross over South 108th Street and into Exchange 17 at Alan Kulwicki Park. Runners will leave the exchange chute heading east on West Cold Spring Road then turning right onto the trail at West Layton Avenue runners will run with traffic on the Root River Parkway. (An officer will be where Root River Parkway intersects with SR-24.) Runners will continue on Root River Parkway then turn left onto South 84th Street, then right onto West Holmes Avenue and right onto South 76th Street to Exchange 18 at Martin Luther High School. Note: Runners will typically run on sidewalks, crosswalks, bike lanes, and shoulders, and will obey all traffic laws.
