AGENDA FOR THE PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING TO BE HELD AT THE GREENFIELD CITY HALL IN THE COMMON COUNCIL CHAMBERS, ROOM 100, ON TUESDAY, APRIL 10, 2012  AT 6:30 P.M.

1.       The meeting called to order and roll call.

2.   Approval of the March 13, 2012 Regular Meeting minutes.

3.       Discussion regarding the Common Council meeting held on  March 20 & April 4.

4.       Gerry Klamrowski, Greenway Construction, 10060 W. Loomis Rd., Franklin 53150, represented by Dave Olsen, Davidsen Consulting LLC, 10521 W. Forest Home Ave., Hales Corners 53130, requests a Certified Survey Map to create three single-family lots and one outlot on a 4.2 acre parcel at the southeast corner of 35th and Barnard.  Tax Key #622-9988-018.  [[Held over from March PC mtg.]]

5.       Amy Rowell, Milwaukee Animal Rescue Center, 5217 S. 51st Street 53220,  requests a Certified Survey Map to combine their two parcels at this location into one lot that will be approx.   24,800 s.f., Tax Key #648-8996-001/002.

6.       Wimmer Bros., 5300 S. 108th Street, Suite 1, Hales Corners 53130, represented by Paul Votto, requests a new Certified Survey Map to replace CSM #7821 for ‘Falcon Glen’ at 113th & Edgerton as part of a construction phasing revision, Tax Key #612-8971-019/022/023.

7.   Tri-City Hyundai, 13000 W. 9.   Whitnall School District, 5000 S. 116th St. 53228, represented by Matt Karshna, Buildings & Grounds Supervisor requests a PC Sign Waiver as it relates to a proposed electronic reader board-type sign being placed near the northeast corner of the Whitnall High School parcel by the football field/track, Tax Key #612-8978-003.

10.    Pastor Mark Weigt, Ridge Community Church, 2626 S. 162nd Street, New Berlin 53151, requests a Conceptual Project Review of a proposal which would involve a Comprehensive Land Use plan change and a rezoning  for the possible use  of a large portion of the existing Walmart building at 4500 S. 108th Street (i.e. use 60,000 s.f. of the 110,000 s.f. building; balance to be leased for commercial use);  request also includes the authorization to initiate the public hearing processes for  the above requests; specific action on these requests to occur at the May PC.  Tax Key # 608-9995-009.

11.    Discuss recommendation to amend the Zoning Code text to enable ‘used car sales’ to be allowed as a Special Use in the C-2/C-3/C-4 Commercial Districts on a limited basis where ‘auto repair’ is the principal use on a parcel; an ordinance prohibiting ‘used car sales’ as a stand-alone type of use was adopted in 2000.
