6. Discussion /decision regarding the promotion of Captain Paul Schlecht to the position of Assistant Chief of Police, with advantage, contingent on the Common Council approval to fill the position. (Chief Wentlandt)
7. Discussion/Decision regarding the promotion of Lieutenant Jay Johnson, Sergeant David Patrick and Sergeant Michael Brunner to the position of Captain of Police, with advantage, contingent on Common Council approval to fill the positions. (Chief Wentlandt)

12. Discussion/decision regarding direction for the creation of a Firefighter eligibility list (Chief Cohn)
13. Commission to go into closed session pursuant to Statute 19.85 (1) (c) (f) of the Wisconsin State Statutes. Specifically: (c) Considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility, and (f) Considering financial, medical, social or personal histories or disciplinary data of specific persons, preliminary consideration of specific personnel problems or the investigation of charges against specific persons except where par. (b) Applies which, if discussed in public, would be likely to have a substantial adverse effect upon the reputation of any person referred to in such histories or data, or involved in such problems or investigations. The purpose of this closed session is to discuss/decide upon candidates being considered to fill the vacant, or near future vacant positions of Entry Level Firefighter as well as discussion/decision related to the appraisal of a probationary Firefighter.
