Former Green Bay Packer Found Shot Dead In Alabama: Report

Deputies reported seeing marijuana, digital scales, a Glock handgun with an extended magazine​ and an AK-47 rifle

Former Green Bay Packers defensive lineman Carlos Gray has been identified as the man who was found shot dead in his home late Monday in Pinson, Alabama.

Gray was 25 years old at the time of his death. He signed with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of North Carolina State University prior to the 2014 NFL season.

According to ESPN, Gray played in four preseason games for the Packers in 2014 and was released in 2015.

According to a report from Al.com, deputies reported seeing marijuana, digital scales, a Glock handgun with an extended magazine

and an AK-47 rifle with a large capacity magazine all in plain view during their investigation. Investigators have yet to report whether any of the firearms were owned by Gray, or whether they were used in the fatal shooting.
