Fourth Greenfield Nun Dies From The Coronavirus

102-year-old Sister Annelda Holtkamp died from COVID-19, officials said.

GREENFIELD, WI – Our Lady of the Angels convent in Greenfield has suffered another tragic loss after 102-year-old Sister Annelda Holtkamp died from COVID-19, officials said.

According to a WISN-12 report, Holtkamp is the fourth Sister to die as a result of the coronavirus.

Sister Marie June Skender, 83, died on April 7 and tested positive for COVID-19 in a post-mortem test. Sister Mary Francele Sherburne, 99, died April 9 from a COVID-19-related infection.

The convent's first coronavirus-related loss came on April 6 when Sister Mary Regine Collins, 95, passed away.
