Free Ice Skating Rink In The Works For Konkel Park This Winter

GREENFIELD, WI — The cold weather is weeks, if not months away, but Greenfield officials are working toward putting together a plan to introduce some fun to Konkel Park this winter.

According to a JSOnline report, Greenfield Parks and Recreation director Scott Jaquish is assembling donors in order to raise funds to install a 50-foot by 110-foot ice rink at Konkel Park.

“It’s something we think creates another winter destination and winter activity,” Jaquish said in the report.
