This weekend in Greenfield you'll be able to find a free movie, an art fair, the farmers market and more. Here's what to check out.
GREENFIELD, WI — This weekend in Greenfield there will be many of the staple events. A free movie, farmers market and more will be taking center stage, and sky, over the weekend.
As the school season creeps closer, check out what to do in Greenfield to soak up the last few weekends of summer. Also of note: a rare blue moon will appear over Greenfield this weekend.

The Greenfield Library's 3rd Annual Art Fair returns Saturday morning. The event will bring 16 local artists to sell their work in the library parking lot, located at 5310 West Layton Avenue.
Local business Pete's Pops will make an appearance at the art fair to sell its signature popsicles. Do-it-yourself arts and crafts will be available to patrons for the length of the art market as well.

Free movies return to Konkel Park Saturday, located at 5151 West Layton Avenue. Toy Story 4 will be aired by the Greenfield Parks and Recreation Department.
The movie starts at dusk. Small snacks, popcorn and beverages will be available for sale at the AMP Haus, according to the event website.
Sunday
The Greenfield Farmers Market returns Sunday. A special at the market this week: The Pollinator Celebration. The event will bring pollinator chalk art, plant raffles, an observation beehive and information about beekeeping, the market's site said.
Pollinators are the critters such as bees, butterflies and more that buzz around pollinating flowers and food, an essential step in the ecosystem. Musician Joey Leal will provide music for the event.

A rare blue moon will be visible in the skies over Wisconsin. The blue moon will adorn the night sky on Sunday. The last seasonal blue moon occurred on Halloween in 2020. Read more about the blue moon here.
