Deal: Donate a gently used pair of shoes and get $10 off your purchase. The shoes are shared with people in the area and around the world through Soles4Souls.

2. Cereamic Tabletop Fountains

Deal: Stein Gardens and Gifts has four styles of ceramic tabletop fountains, regularly priced at $34.99 for $19.88.

3. $10 gas card at

Deal: Sell your gold at Robert Haack Diamonds and get a $10 gas card. You have to have a coupon, however, which was recently sent in the mail.

Good through: March 15

4. Discounted tax return filings

Deal: Another deal that requires a coupon. The Tax Team, 3151 S. 92^nd St., is offering $30 off a tax return.

Good through: no expiration date on the coupon

5. Grammy winners on sale

Deal:  has CDs from Grammy-winners Lady Antebellum, Eminem and others on sale for $9.99, a couple bucks off the regular price.

Good through: Feb. 19
