Why Go: The BriTins, a Beatles tribute act, kicks off the PAC's 2011 season. The BriTins take you back to the days of the "Ed Sullivan Show," through the music of the movies "Hard Day's Night" and "Help!" and all of the band's legendary albums.

Where/When: Wisconsin Expo Center at State Fair Park/Friday, noon to 6 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Why Go: Angela Damiani weekly feature for women who need some time to themselves, but with the presentations, speakers and exhibitors, this is a great event for everyone.
Pricing: $10; children under 15 are free
3. Ladies Night Out at Stein Gardens and Gifts
Where/When: Stein Gardens and Gifts, 3725 S. 108th St./Thursday, 4-9 p.m.
Why Go: OK, so it's not on the weekend and not for everyone - kind of against what "Get Out" is all about - but it looks like a great time to kick of the weekend in style. There will be design demonstrations, games and prizes and light appetizers, not to mention extra savings and a chance to win a $100 shopping spree.

Why Go: Who couldn't use some cheap laughs just a short drive away?
Pricing: $5 in advance; $7 at the door
Where/When: Wisconsin Expo Center at State Fair Park/Friday, 5-10 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Sunday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Why Go: Check out awesome cars, get car care tips, listen to live bands Friday and Saturday night or take in the bikini contest Friday evening. And don't miss Greenfield's House of Harley-Davidson's booth.
Pricing: $14 for adults; $5 for children 6-12
