Greenfield Bar Hosting Girl Scout Cookie And Beer Pairing Night

GREENFIELD, WI — What goes better with a fine stout beer: thin mints or peanut butter patties?

This, and other Girl Scout cookie-related questions will be answered this week as the owners of the Brass Tap, 7808 W. Layton Ave. in Greenfield, host their sixth-annual Girl Scout Cookie Beer Flight Pairing.

They will be featuring the following cookies and beer flight pairing all day and evening, organizers say:

• Thanks-A-Lot and Door County Bake Sale Brown Ale
• Peanut Butter Patties and Shortfuse Peanut Butter Stout
• Caramel Delites and Southern Tier Nitro Hot Chocolate
• Thin Mints and Lions Tail Chocolate Raspberry Porter

Named Best Beer Bar In 2016

The Brass Tap earned the top spot in On Milwaukee's "Best New Bar" category back in 2016 after it was selected by readers of the popular online entertainment publication.

The Brass Tap opened in Jan. 2016, and featured more than 80 taps once it opened - all lined up in a row - for patrons to enjoy, and perhaps sample.

It was first Brass Tap in Wisconsin.
