Greenfield Fall Leaf Collection Schedule 2021

GREENFIELD, WI — With October here and the cooler fall air, plenty of leaves will soon be headed to the ground in Greenfield. As trees shed their foliage, the leaves will pile on the ground.

Each fall the Greenfield Division of Public works schedules time to pick up all the leaves that have fallen around the city. For 2021, leaves should start to be piled up near the curb on Oct. 11, but no earlier, according to the city.

Here's what residents should know about the 2021 fall leaf collection in Greenfield:

• Leaves should be raked out to the curb by 7 a.m. on the Monday of a scheduled pickup week.
• Residents should wait until Oct. 11 to put their leaves on the curb.
• Residents are strongly encouraged to mulch their leaves.
• Leaves will not be collected: If they contain anything other than leaves such as stones, grass or branches, if the pile is blocked by a car, if the pile is too far from the curb, or if the pile is left in an alley, according to the city website.
