Greenfield High School Gets New Principal

Todd Willems will be replacing Paul Thusius as principal of Greenfield High School at the end of the year.

GREENFIELD, WI — Greenfield High School will be getting a new principal after the School Board approved hiring Todd Willems to the post, replacing Paul Thusius at the end of the year.

According to school district officials, Willems is a veteran educator with experience teaching social studies and English, as well as serving as athletic director and academic dean at Burlington Catholic Central High School.

Willems served as principal of Messmer High School becore becoming the Chief Academic Officer for Sienna Catholic Schools of Racine.

"Mister Willems stood out among a deep pool of candidates," Greenfield School District Superintendent Lisa Elliot said in a statement. "His knowledge, experience and positive approach to learning fits perfectly with our belief that all learning begins with meaningful relationships."

District officials said opportunities will be made for people to meet Willems as soon as conditions allow.
