Greenfield Holiday Tree Lighting Set For Saturday At Konkel Park

Greenfield's First Annual Holiday Tree Lighting is scheduled to take place on Saturday.

GREENFIELD, WI — The City of Greenfield is planning on holding its First Annual Holiday Tree Lighting at Konkel Park on Saturday. The event is set to include Santa, live music and more, according to the City's website.

A host of events have been tentatively scheduled alongside the tree lighting at Konkel Park. Food vendors, beverages, popcorn—and as long as supplies lasts—free hot chocolate will be available at the Festival Foods Warming Area.

The tree lighting is scheduled to take place between 5-5:30 p.m. Caroling from the Greenfield Middle and High School Caroling Club and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus are set to accompany the lighting.

Live music during the event could include an Elvis performer and other artists. A magic show, candy cane hunt and carriage rides were also scheduled. More information on the scheduled lineup of performers and events can be found online at the City's website.

The lineup of events starts at 3 p.m. Saturday and ends at 8 p.m. The venue will be Konkel Park, located at 5151 West Layton Avenue in Greenfield.
