Greenfield Municipal Court To Temporarily Close Next Week

The City of Greenfield Municipal Court will be closed Oct. 28-Nov. 1.

GREENFIELD, WI — The City of Greenfield Municipal Court will temporarily close on Oct. 28 until Nov. 1, according to the city's website.

According to a Facebook post from the Greenfield Police Department, a dropbox in the lobby for court payments will remain open during that time.

The closure takes place at 3 p.m on Oct. 27, the department said in its post. Since the start of the pandemic, court proceedings in Greenfield have looked a bit different. Those who wish to not appear in court must pay their court fees before their court date.

For those that want to appear in court, an appointment is required. The court can be reached at (414) 761-5366 to set up an appointment. Walk-ins are not allowed and masks are required, according to Greenfield's city website.

The municipal court is located at 5300 West Layton Avenue in Greenfield.
