GREENFIELD, WI—The Greenfield Police Department is hiring dispatchers. The deadline for applications for the position of dispatcher is Friday.
The starting pay for the position is $22.20 per hour. Early and late shift dispatchers earn an increased hourly shift differential. Dispatchers work a four-days on with two-days off schedule on one of three shifts.
Dispatchers take almost 12,000 emergency 911 calls and over 100,000 administrative calls each year, according to the City's website. The Dispatch Center is staffed 24 hours per day, seven days per week, and 365 days per year providing police, fire, and emergency medical services.
