Greenfield Property Tax Bills Mailed: What To Know
Greenfield mailed out property tax bills on Dec. 10. Here's what to know about paying.

GREENFIELD, WI — Property tax bills for the City of Greenfield were mailed to residents on Dec. 10. Most payments are due in full by Jan. 31, but residents can also pay in installments, according to the city's website.
The city's online tax portal contains copies of tax bills, receipts for payments and the option the make an online payment for a fee. Payments can also be made by check or over the phone.
Businesses paying taxes are required to pay in full by Jan. 31. Homeowners have the option to pay in installments throughout 2022. Each due date has a five-day grace period, as mandated by Wisconsin law, however missing a payment with the installment option immediately disqualifies residents from paying that way, according to the tax letter sent to residents.

The three installments would each be due on Jan. 31, April 30 and June 30.
On top of taxes, pet licenses will soon need to be renewed. 2022 licenses can be bought for $12 for a fixed pet and $24 for one that is not. Proof of rabies vaccination is required for a license. Renewals are due by April 1.
