GREENFIELD, WI — Polls have closed in Wisconsin and the results of the Greenfield School District revenue limit referendum will soon be discovered.

The referendum asked voters in Greenfield if their school district can exceed its revenue limit by $5 million each year for four years until the 2026-2027 school year. If approved, the measure would help retain quality educators, support classroom sizes, help keep pace with technology, manage the costs of inflation and more, according to the district.

The district projected its tax mill rate to remain steady if the referendum is approved, with its portion of property taxes dropping by $5 for every $100,000 of property market value in the next four years.
