Greenfield Teacher On Leave As Relationship With Student Investigated
A Greenfield High School teacher is under investigation amid a "potentially inappropriate" relationship with a student, officials said.

GREENFIELD, WI — A teacher at Greenfield High School has been put on administrative leave while the district and police investigate a "potentially inappropriate" relationship with a student, district officials said in a letter to parents and staff on Tuesday.
The district did not name the teacher and on Wednesday Superintendent Lisa Elliott declined to comment further, citing an ongoing investigation. A letter from Elliott and the school's principal, Todd Willems, said school and district staff are cooperating with local police and a school resource officer amid the investigation.
"Please know that we take this situation very seriously, and our focus remains on the safety and wellbeing of our students," wrote Elliott and Willems. "Our team of counselors is available to provide assistance to any member of our school community who feels they would benefit from our counselors’ services in relation to this ongoing matter."
