Health Shake, Tea and Coffee Shop Proposed For Greenfield

GREENFIELD, WI — A health shake, tea and coffee shop called La Villa Nutrition is looking to open at 4639 108th Street in Greenfield.

The Greenfield Plan Commission on Tuesday moved to recommend Common Council approval of the special use and site plan reviews submitted by Yesica Granados Lopez for the business.

"Nutrition to the community," Granados Lopez told the commission in the meeting. "There's nothing really like it around, it's my goal to just bring nutrition. And fitness, because I love fitness."

City documents state Granados Lopez, with six years of previous barista experience, would be the sole employee of the business. A public hearing for the proposal could come as soon as March. 15

"I am Yesi, I have been working Emergency medicine for 6 years," reads a Facebook post to an account created under the business' name. "I am a Paramedic for St. Lukes Emergency department and for Vernon Fire department. I love what I do, but my heart rests in helping my community choose healthier options."

An opening day for the business is yet to be determined, the Facebook post continued.
