House Burglarized On 43rd Street + Vehicle Thefts: Greenfield Police

Someone took various electronics from a home on 43rd Street, according to police logs. Here's a look back at other noteworthy logs.

GREENFIELD, WI — Someone stole various electronics from a residence in the 4100 block of 43rd Street on Sunday, according to the latest Greenfield Police Department call logs.

Somebody saw a sedan parked outside the building around 3 p.m. and three men who were wearing masks leaving a garage carrying multiple electronics, so they reported it to the police. The resident called police later that day to report the burglary and police confirmed the missing items, according to police logs.

Person Arrested For Solicitation of a Prostitute

Police arrested someone parked in sedan a lot near Edgerton Avenue and 35th Street around 1 a.m. on May 9 for obstructing and solicitation of a prostitute. Another person was also arrested for obstructing and prostitution, according to police logs.

Juveniles Arrested After Checking Out Vehicles

An employee of a credit union in the 4000 block of Loomis Road told police a car pulled into the lot the morning of May 9 and that multiple people had gotten out of the car and were checking out parked cars, according to police logs.

The group of juveniles drove away in the car when officers arrived and police later found them in a parking lot in the 4100 block of 43rd Street, logs said. Seven juveniles were taken into custody and their car was confirmed stolen through the Milwaukee Police Department, according to logs.

Car Gets Hit By Pizza

Someone told police on May 9 that someone in another car threw a pizza at their car near 76th Street and Coldspring Road around 7 p.m., according to logs. The car that was hit with a pizza was undamaged, logs said, and a voicemail was left for the vehicle's owner.

Vehicle Entered At Work

Someone told police that someone stole various items from her vehicle when it was in a parking garage at Aurora in the 9000 block of Sura Lane on May 10 around noon, according to logs.

Man Shoots Self In Hand At Zablocki Park

A man shot himself in the hand on Saturday when he was sitting in his car parked at Zablocki Park around 3 p.m., officers from the Milwaukee Police Department told the Greenfield Police Department according to logs. The man was brought to Froedtert. His girlfriend who was also sitting in the vehicle also had a gunshot wound and was being treated in St. Francis, logs said.

The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office is investigating, logs said.

Car Stolen On Layton Avenue

A sedan was stolen reported from a lot in the 4400 block of Layton Avenue on Sunday 10 a.m, logs said.
