Interstate 894 Resurfacing Plans: Open House Meeting In Greenfield
A meeting is planned in February for people to find out more about plans to resurface I-894 and replace the Loomis Road overpass in 2023.
GREENFIELD, WI — Ahead of the planned 2023 construction on Interstate 894 in Greenfield, a public meeting is scheduled in February for people to learn about and discuss the project.
The project has several elements, including reconstructing the Loomis Road bridge over I-894, resurfacing much of the interstate, repairing shoulder and median infrastructure, and more, according to a project sheet posted by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
With a planned schedule of spring through fall 2023, the project could bring lane and ramp closures, though the highway is expected to remain open to traffic.
