Jump In: Gas Prices

Memorial Day weekend marks the traditional start of the summer travel season, and gas prices are still far closer to $4 per gallon than they are to $3.

Gas prices in Greenfield have plummeted about 25 cents in the past week. The lowest price in town today, according to www.gasbuddy.com, is $3.73 per gallon. A week ago, gas in the Milwaukee area was averaging $3.97. 

The price of gas climbed over the past few months, following the unrest in the Middle East, and Gasbuddy.com reports local gas prices are about $1 higher than they were last year at this time.
