Kohl's Joins Growing List of Businesses Bound for Greenfield's 84South
The large local complex will be home to a laundry list of new businesses. Once complete, it's expected to create 600 jobs.
GREENFIELD — The community's massive shopping, restaurant and residential complex is bringing a slew of new businesses to Greenfield, with one opening as soon as next month.
The newest store to join the growing list of businesses setting up shop at at 84South is Kohl's Department Store, according to the USA Today Network. Contingent upon bid approvals, it'll move from Greendale during the second half of 2018.
But the soonest to open? Wisconsin's second Portillo's restaurant — the first launched last summer in Brookfield. Complete with a drive-through, the Chicago-style hot dog favorite will start serving up its dogs, soups, sandwiches and desserts to Greenfield-area residents in April.

84South is located along Layton Avenue between 84th and 92nd streets.

"When finished, 84South will have more than 530,000 square feet of commercial space, is expected to add more than $165 million to Greenfield's tax base, and create more than 600 new jobs," according to the USA Today article.
