Local Jewelry Store Could Pay Big If Bucks Win Tuesday: Report

GREENFIELD, WI — Some customers of an area jeweler store could be getting a big payout if the Milwaukee Bucks win the NBA Finals, a report from TMJ4 said.

The Bucks are as close as they have ever been — only one game stands between the team and its first NBA Finals win in 50 years.

Many will be at the edge of their seats in Milwaukee and across Wisconsin, but not many have as much to lose from the game as Robert Haack Diamonds, according to the TMJ4 report.

The local jeweler launched a program with customers last month, betting that if the Milwaukee Bucks win the finals, jewelry purchases made by July 10 will be reimbursed, the TMJ4 report said.

Bret Eulberg, president of Robert Haack Diamonds, told TMJ4 that its not the first time such a promise has been made. It's the first time the store may have to pay out, though — about $70,000, the report said.

Eulberg told TMJ4 that he's rooting for the Bucks. If the team wins Game 6 tonight, the wager will stand and customers will be reimbursed by the end of the year, the report said.
