Man Stabs Wall Repeatedly During Disturbance, Police Say

A Greenfield man previously accused of impersonating a photographer to gain access to high school athletes late last year, is facing additional charges stemming from an incident at his apartment earlier this month.

Gary Medrow, 69, who lives in the 5200 block of South Tuckaway Boulevard, was charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct in Milwaukee County Circuit Court on Jan. 22, two days after police responded to a disturbance at his apartment and found a knife stuck in a wall.

According to the criminal complaint, the Greenfield Police Department received calls from apartment complex residents, who reported they heard yelling and threats coming from Medrow’s apartment.

When an officer arrived at the apartment door, Medrow was standing in the apartment screaming, “I’m going to kill someone.”

Once Medrow was placed in handcuffs, officers found several puncture marks made with a knife in the walls and found a knife stuck in the wall.

He faces up to 90 days of imprisonment and $1,000 in fines.

Back in December, Medrow was charged in Ozaukee County Court with two telephone harassment charges as well as two misdemeanor disorderly conduct charges after police say he pretended to be a photographer with the intent to take photos of Cedarburg High School cheerleaders.
