Marcus Theaters Ban Larger Bag Sizes At The Movies
According to company officials, Tuesday was the first day that the movie theater chain enacted the policy.

MILWAUKEE, WI — Citing safety concerns, Marcus Theater officials have updated their carry-in policy, which will limit the size of bags that moviegoers can take into theaters.
Under the new policy, moviegoers can no longer carry bags or packages into the theater that measure greater than 12 inches by 12 inches by 6 inches in size.
According to company officials, Tuesday was the first day that the movie theater chain enacted the policy.

"We have updated our bag policy to ensure that we are supporting a safe and positive movie-going experience for everyone," officials said Monday. "With the exception of diaper bags (child must be present) and medical equipment bags, we will not permit bags or packages with any dimensions measuring larger than 12 inches by 12 inches by 6 inches."
