Milwaukee Officer Living In Greenfield Had Gun Stolen: Report
An off-duty Milwaukee Police Officer had a car burglary suspect at gunpoint before he fled with a gun, badge and police jacket, police say.

GREENFIELD, WI β A 19-year-old Milwaukee man has been arrested and charged after authorities say he was behind the wheel of a getaway car when his accomplice stole a Milwaukee Police officer's police jacket, badge and personal gun from out of his truck.
Terrion Wise has been charged with theft for his role in the car burglary spree, and faces up to three years behind bars if he is convicted, court documents show.
According to a criminal complaint filed in Milwaukee County, Greenfield Police were sent to a home on the 4600 block of S. 49th Street on Jan. 12 on a report that an off-duty Milwaukee police officer confronted a car burglary suspect in front of his home.

Police say Wise and his accomplice narrowly escaped with the officer's personal gun, badge and police jacket after the officer confronted the accomplice at gunpoint. Police say the off-duty Milwaukee Police officer saw a silver Lexus pull up near his truck, and thought it may have been an Amazon delivery driver. He told police he went to take a closer look, only to find the door of his truck open, with someone inside. According to the criminal complaint, he went outside and confronted the accomplice, only to have him get back in the Lexus and drive away.
Authorities say they later caught up with Wise after he was arrested in the back seat of a different car that fled police on Feb. 1.

According to the criminal complaint, Wise admitted that he was behind the wheel of a silver Lexus and going through the officer's neighborhood to burglarize cars.
Investigators said Wise admitted that his accomplice got out of the Lexus, and entered the officer's truck. Wise told investigators he thought his accomplice came back with a bag, only to find he came back with an officer's badge, jacket and personal gun.
