New Senior Living Community Breaks Ground On Edgerton In Greenfield
The Woods features a post-COVID-19 design that gives inhabitants their own front door and patios.

GREENFIELD, WI — A new senior living community has broken ground in Greenfield at 11800 Edgerton Avenue, according to a news release from the developer.
It's being called The Woods, and it's implementing a "post COVID-19 design," the news release said. The new community will offer leases for ranch-style homes that range in size from studio to 2 bedroom floor plans. The new development is expected to open in spring 2023.
The Woods is comprised of two distinct single-story buildings containing 58 one-bedroom, 14 two-bedroom and 48 studio units, according to its website. The development is placed on 11.57 acres of land located right near Whitnall Middle School and High School. The development's website touts its proximity to nature as something that sets it apart.

The design features private front doors and patios for each of the connected homes. Other features include prepared meals, housekeeping, transportation, a salon, a fitness center, a coffee and cocktail lounge, a general store, a dog wash and underground parking, according to the news release.
