Open Letter to Senator Johnson

Dear Senator Johnson,

I like you. I want you to run for reelection, but I can also respect the fact that you want to live by your promise of two terms.

However, a decision must be made, and soon. Ideological opponents have already begun the battle and they need to be countered. Yes, the election is over a year away, but as you know, there is no longer a campaign season. Your supporters need time to find a new representative should you decide not to run. Money needs to be raised, ads need to be produced, hearts and minds need to be won. None of that can happen if we don't know who our candidate will be.

I understand it is a difficult decision. There is a lot to consider for any political campaign, but time is running out for those who wish to follow in your footsteps to make those same decisions.

We need an answer. We deserve an answer. Please give us an answer.
