Route Set For Bunny Hop Float In Greenfield: See The Stops

The Easter Bunny will be traveling the streets of Greenfield on a float with some friends on April 2, the city's website says.

GREENFIELD, WI — The route and stops have been set for the Easter Bunny's hop through Greenfield on April 2, according to the city's website.

The Easter Bunny will be venturing down streets that day along with some special guests. The route will take the float near parks and schools, where the "Bunny Squad" will be handing out goody bags to children under 12, as long as supplies last, and entering kids in raffles, the city's website says.

The schedule of events slates the Bunny Hop to begin at Creekwood Park at 12 p.m.

The route map shows 11 stops, which includes locations near:

  • Elm Dale Elementary School.
  • Jim Smrz Park.
  • Dan Jansen Park.
  • Brookside Meadow Park.
  • Edgerton Elementary School.
  • Kulwicki Park.
  • Lavies Park.
  • Don Almquist Park.
  • Glenwood Elementary School.
  • Haker Park.
  • Konkel Park.

At 4 p.m. family-friendly entertainment plus games, good and photos with the Easter Bunny will come to Konkel Park, the city's website says. A Fire and Ice show by Mad Science will run from 4-5 p.m., and a live drawing from each of the 11 stops the bunny visited earlier in the day will take place at 5 p.m.

The city will activate a Bunny Tracker the day of the event so everyone can follow along on the hop's progress.

A weather make-up date was set for April 3.
