Spotlight Youth Theater to Present 'Pocahontas'
The theater program, which holds classes in Greenfield and includes performers from all over the Patch coverage area, will put on performance at St. Thomas More High School in March.
Spotlight Youth Theater, a non-profit, after-school theater arts education program for kids ages 4-18 will be presenting The Legend of Pocahontas, a fully staged musical production for a run of two weekends later this month.
Through this production the audience will discover the legend of the Algonquin Indians and the true story of Pocahontas, an Indian princess who defied her tribe, and in doing so changed the world forever. Witness her story in a brand new way unlike anything seen before. Dynamic music, exciting dances and interesting characters make this show a truly unforgettable journey.
Actors from throughout the Patch coverage area, specifically Racine, Greenfield, Sussex, Brookfield, Waukesha and Oak Creek, are part of the performance.
