Over 2000 residents between the ages of 12 to 15 have gotten their first Pfizer shot in Milwaukee county. Over 12,000 in this age group have gotten vaccinated in Wisconsin.

Nearly 40 percent of Wisconsin is fully vaccinated. Recently, fewer people have been getting the shot. Only 150,000 people got a vaccine shot last week, compared to 400,000 the week of April 4.

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services strongly encourages getting those 12 and up to get vaccinated.
