Vote for Your Favorie Decorated House

Time is running out on Patch's national "Deck the House" competition, but local homeowners have thrown their names in the ring for the $100,000 grand prize.

A little friendly competition never hurts, especially when there’s $100,000 on the line!

Of course, if either of the Greenfield Patch entries in our Deck the House Contest win the national prize, the Whitnall School District would be the big winner.

So far, only Dan Ackmann of Greenfield and Lana and Scott Stachowski of Hales Corners have submitted videos of their homes, but there’s still time to enter our Deck the House Contest. And don’t worry about all those lights racking up the utility bill because if you’re voted a finalist Patch will give you up to $500 to cover the expense.

Ackmann, whose parents’ house at 3803 W. 104th St. was featured on Greenfield Patch last year, is facing a strong challenge from the Stachowskis, who have printed up the attached flyer to help promote their home at 6235 S. 123rd St.

Be sure to vote for your favorite! The competition ends Dec. 16.

We know some of you out there may have decorations up that aren’t as extravagant as these. That’s OK! We’d still love to have a photo of your house in the gallery so we can show Greenfield's awesome holiday spirit.

Have fun and happy holidays!
