Whitnall's Tyler Herro Makes College Choice
Whitnall High School basketball standout Tyler Herro, who recently de-committed from Wisconsin, has made his new college choice official.

HALES CORNERS, WI — First it was Wisconsin. Now it's Kentucky.
Whitnall High School student and standout basketball player Tyler Herro announced Tuesday afternoon that it is his intention to play college basketball at University of Kentucky in Lexington. His announcement came four weeks to the day he announced that he was de-committing from Wisconsin.
Herro originally said he was going to UW-Madison, but de-committed in October for unspecified reasons, thus reopening his recruitment process.

The folks in Kentucky are understandably excited.
According to Kentucky.com, Herro — a four-star shooting guard in the class of 2018 and one of the best long-range shooters in high school basketball — committed long before anyone expected him to reach a college decision.

According to the Kentucky publication, head coach John Calipari paid him a visit — and offered him a scholarship — two weeks after he made it public that he was no longer committed to Wisconsin. This past weekend, Herro was in Lexington for the first (and only) official visit of his recruitment.
