Wisconsin's 85 Best Places To Raise A Family: 2018 Ranking

A recent study looked at kid-friendliness factors like affordability, playgrounds per capita, families with young children and weather.

What's the best place in Wisconsin to raise a family? A Dane County suburb once again tops a list of family-friendly places. A new study by consumer finance site WalletHub looked at factors like playgrounds per capital, number of attractions, share of families with young children, education, health and safety and affordability to rank Illinois communities based on the best place to move if you've got kids.

The Badger State was ranked the No. 11 best state to raise kids by WalletHub, because Wisconsin is particularly suitable for low-budget, child-focused family life. Wallethub ranked the state's top 85 cities.
