Wisconsin's First Snowflakes Coming This Weekend
The National Weather Service says we're getting our first deep freeze (watch those outdoor plants!) and our first sight of snow this weekend
MILWAUKEE, WI — Get ready, because the cold temperatures and our season's first hint of snow are on their way starting Friday night.
According to the National Weather Service, a cold front will drop temperatures to around or below freezing across much of southern Wisconsin on Friday night.
Sub-freezing conditions are expected across the much of central and southern Wisconsin and a Freeze Warning has been issued. The combination of these cold temps and winds of 10-15 mph could kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.
