Woman Threatened, Spit At Greenfield Officer: Police

Police said the woman admitted that she had "drank a little too much" and was coming from a bowling alley at 76th and Oklahoma.

GREENFIELD, WI — A drunken-driving arrest became more serious for a 43-year-old Milwaukee woman after authorities say she threatened a Greenfield police officer and spit in their face when she was offered a glass of water.

Court documents filed in Milwaukee County state that 43-year-old Tiffany Debaker faces her third driving-while-impaired offense, and has also been charged with discharging bodily fluids at a public safety worker.

According to her criminal complaint, a Greenfield police officer on patrol just before 2 a.m. on Feb. 19 found Debaker's car stuck in the snow along the east side of a vacant building on the 6800 block of W. Layton Ave.

Police said Debaker got out of her car and stumbled toward the officer once the police officer arrived on-scene to investigate the situation.

Police said the woman admitted that she had "drank a little too much" and was coming from a bowling alley at 76th and Oklahoma, and was just trying to get home.

According to police, she was transported to St. Luke's Hospital for a legal blood draw. At that point, police said Debaker told an officer that "I hope you get a bullet to the chest."

Police said Debaker then asked for a glass of water. An officer provided her with a cup of water. Police said Debaker spit "a large quantity of the contents of her mouth" at the officer, which landed on the officer's face, eye, glasses and chest."

According to court documents, Debaker next appears in court on March 4 for her preliminary hearing.
