GREENFIELD, WI — Officials in Greenfield voted Tuesday to allow dogs into Greenfield parks for the first time.
According to a report by the Journal Sentinel early Wednesday, dogs will have to remain on leashes, stay on marked pathways, be kept away from the Amp amphitheater in Konkel Park. Dogs will also be restricted from picnic areas, children's play areas, and designated athletic fields, according to city officials.
Prior to Tuesday's vote, all dogs and cats were banned from city parks, with the exception of dogs for the sight-impaired.
