2 Died Minutes Apart In Auto Crashes Wednesday: Police
Authorities said a motorcycle rider and the driver of a car both died in separate crashes Wednesday afternoon in Racine.

RACINE, WI — The Racine community lost two of its own Wednesday after police say two people died within minutes of each other in two separate auto accidents.
According to Racine police, officers were sent to the intersection of Washington Ave. and S. 10th Street on a report of a crash between a car and a motorcycle just after 9 p.m. on Wednesday.
Police said the motorcycle rider succumbed to his injuries at the hospital shortly after the crash.

Less than 30 minutes later, officers responded to the 3700 block of Osborne Blvd. on a report of a single-vehicle accident. When they arrived, officers reported finding that a vehicle veered off the road and hit a tree.
Police said the driver of the vehicle was rushed to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
