Armed Person Reported Near Kenosha Elementary School; 1 In Custody: Police
No one was injured Friday in connection with a reported armed individual in crisis near the school, Kenosha police said.

KENOSHA, WI — A person was taken into custody Friday following reports of an armed individual near a Kenosha elementary school, according to police.
Officers responded about 9:30 a.m. to the area of Jefferson Elementary School after receiving reports of an armed person in crisis, police said.
"A large and rapid police response was initiated and the person was quickly located and taken into custody for mental health evaluation," police said in a tweet.
