Caledonia Man, 31, Died In Friday Crash

Authorities said the man was riding a motorcycle at the time of the accident.

RACINE COUNTY, WI — A 31-year-old Caledonia man is dead after authorities said the motorcycle he was riding veered off the road in a crash early Friday.

According to the Racine County Sheriff's office, deputies were sent to the 10100 block of W. Highway K in the Village of Raymond on a report of a motorcycle accident just after 2 a.m. Friday.

Authorities said the rider was found about 50 feet of the road. He was not responding to first responders, but he was breathing, according to sheriff's officials.

Deputies and first responders attempted live-saving measures at the scene of the crash until the man could be flown by Flight for Life to the hospital. Investigators said speed and alcohol appeared to be contributing factors to the cause of the accident.
