Easter Egg Hunts, Activities and Services in Mount Pleasant & Sturtevant

Whether you want to attend an egg hunt, church service or get your child’s photo taken with the Easter Bunny (much less traumatic than Santa Claus), check out our list of Easter events happening in Caledonia.

Sturtevant Egg Hunt, Breakfast with the Bunny

Celebrate spring and Easter at the second annual pancake breakfast and Easter egg hunt on Saturday, March 30. 

The breakfast at the Sturtevant Fire Station takes place from 8 a.m. to noon. Eat pancakes and sausage, visit the Easter Bunny, and then head over to Sturtevant Village Hall for the 10 a.m. egg hunt. 

Tickets for the breakfast are $7 for ages 12 and up, $5 for ages 4 to 11, and ages 3 and under are free. Proceeds support the July 3rd Fireworks Festival.

PEEPS® Exhibit at Racine Art Museum

On Friday, March 29, within the pristine white walls of the Racine Art Museum, 441 Main St., an untraditional exhibition opens showcasing fluffy, sugar-coated marshmallow PEEPS®.

The museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday - Saturday, noon to 5 p.m. Sundays, closed Mondays, and Easter Sunday, March 31. Admission is $5 for adults, with reduced fees for students and seniors. RAM Members and children under 12 are always free.

Easter Services

St. Paul The Apostle Catholic Church, 6400 Spring St. Saturday services: 9 a.m. food blessing; 10:00 a.m. Easter Vigil Rehearsal; 7:30 p.m. Easter Vigil Mass. Sunday services: Easter Masses at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

Mount Pleasant Lutheran Church, 1700 South Green Bay Road. Easter Sunday services at 7 a.m., 9:15 a.m. and 11 a.m. Breakfast will be held from 8 to 9 a.m. MPLC Cook-Off winner, two years in a row, David Fanelli, will be in the kitchen cooking up another great Easter Breakfast. Members of the High School youth and our seventh grade confirmation campers will be your friendly wait staff.
