MOUNT PLEASANT, WI β€” About two months after lifting the first vertical wall panel into place, company officials at Foxconn say they've started installing the roof at their one million square-foot electronics manufacturing building in Mount Pleasant.

In August, company officials at Foxconn marked the beginning of construction with a ceremony showcasing the first of nearly 400 precast concrete panels that was raised into place.

Now, in mid-October, the roof of the same building β€” touted as North America's first thin-film-transistor liquid-crystal display factory β€” is officially underway.
