After almost 24 hours of constant rain, the pavement was starting to dry out a bit Tuesday afternoon. Still, we bet there's water pooling in some yards and at corners. Take photos and upload them here.
Katy Johnson of Sturtevant ventured out Monday afternoon and snapped these photos in the parking lot of Pick 'n' Save at Highways 11 and 31.
She said there was quite a bit of rising water along village streets, but lulls in the rain helped the sewer system absorb and move the downpour out to Lake Michigan.
A flood watch is in effect for Racine County through Friday, when temperatures are supposed to rise and the sun might actually come out.
