SALEM LAKES, WI — A driver remains seriously injured after his Ford Focus crashed into a school bus Tuesday morning on Wilmot Road in Kenosha, but nobody on board the bus was hurt, according to a news release from the Kenosha County Sheriff's Department.
Sheriff's deputies were called out to the 27200 block of Wilmot Road in Salem Lakes just before noon, and authorities said substance abuse may be a factor in the crash. The bus driver and the four children on board were not injured in the crash. The driver of the Ford Focus, identified as 30-year-old Mark Ney of Pell Lake, was severely injured, the sheriff's office said.
