Woman Hospitalized Following Three-Car Crash

One woman was taken to the hospital after she was injured in a three-car crash that happened on Highway 20 at 90th Street shortly after 1 p.m. Monday.

A member of the South Shore Fire Department said that while they are transporting one woman to the hospital, her injuries are not life threatening.

The older woman, who is in her 60s, was driving eastbound on Highway 20 when she started to turn left, going north on 90th Street. A pick-up truck traveling east on Highway 20, crashed into her.

A van that was at the stoplight on 90th St. was also struck. The driver, who wished not to be named, said the older woman was attempting to turn left while the light was yellow.
